An experience in the authentic Baja sub tropical environment, with all the comforts and close to the sea. The Park is right here and is world renown for its spectacular diving and snorkeling. In winter, the sea here becomes the nursery of Humpback Whales, and you can often see the whale calves from your window!
Three exotic structures in a magical land are designed to put you in contact with nature.
All the accommodations are surrounded by vegetation to enjoy the sounds of the bush in private and admire the birds, over 50 species are observed on the property.
From our backyard start several trails to explore thousands of pristine acres of the lower side of Sierra la Laguna. Scenic hikes will guide you to the top of the hills to see the spouts of the whales in the bay from above. Inside the canyon you will follow the old trails of rancheros that are still maintaining their cattle and their original life style. You will be surprised by the majestic giant cactus and the indigenous vegetation called the garden of desert.
The night reveals the magic of the Oasis illuminated by solar lanterns and small lights exclusively from solar energy. The sounds of the nocturnal critters and the waves enliven the night. You can observe the starry sky or the moon rise on the sea that illuminates the whole panorama.

Our native plants
In the green season the lush greenery creates a mystic low jungle of vines, canopy trees, high walls of bush. In the dry season the vegetation remind one of the African bush and you can see the twisted shapes of the trunks. The Torote, the incense tree, releases its precious oil used for aroma therapy, natural soap and body oil.

We are a married couple: Doug and Claudia have traveled the world having many outdoors adventures with wildlife, and meeting people. You can read about our adventures on the pages of this site, and peruse the photo galleries.
Claudia is an Italian who is famous in Italy as a TV documentarian who specializes in filming wildlife interacting with humans, especially marine life. Watch her films of her swimming with whales, sharks and much more. She is known in Italy as ‘Claudia Capodarte the shark lady’.
Doug is a wildlife technician who has helped on research projects, including catching wolves, deer and owls. He also does outdoors adventures including canyoneering.
