Claudia and I (Doug) travel the world, exploring the outdoors, watching and having encounters with wildlife, trying many different outdoors adventures, and meeting people from all walks of life and many different countries. We love the variety in life and the endless types of adventure. We will try almost anything new and different for the adventure.
This site is for sharing our stories (mostly just a page or two each), videos and photos of our adventures with travel, wildlife and outdoors activities. If you love adventure of any type then you will enjoy this site. The purpose of this site is to be both entertaining and inspirational, whether you’re looking to do your first adventure, or to come up with a new adventure, or just to live vicariously through our adventures. We will share helpful tips on where and when to go and see the worlds most spectacular wildlife. (Also see our BLOG page.)
We have traveled the world (been on 6 continents and numerous countries) and seen its wildlife, natural beauty, and met its people.
This site will present our stories, photos and films; these will be on our travels, wildlife jobs, filming of documentaries and outdoors adventure. It will be updated with ongoing adventures, and also past ones; with a new story being posted on a regular bases.
You’ll read stories such as Idaho Wolf Recovery Project, a story about my working on catching live wild wolves for radio collaring: “a chill went up my back. I was this close to a wolf in the wild!”, and “There, 25 feet (8M) in front of me was a black wolf.” Also check out A Night to Remember, a story about a very scary canyoneering trip: “When it is raining the last place in the world that you want to be is in a slot canyon! We have water flowing at us!”, and “All I could do was hobble along.”
Also enjoy short videos such as balena (whales) a short video about Claudia swimming with Humpback whales and le razze (rays) a video of Claudia caressing Sting Rays, dolphins and sea turtles in shallow water. Look forward to the upcoming addition of Snorkeling around the World; a diary of Claudia’s snorkeling ( and diving) adventures with the seas most amazing wildlife, as she swims with everything from sharks to whales to turtles.

Her diving career began at an early age and includes diving with many famous divers. From Jacques Cousteau she learned how to approach the marine mammals. She never imagined the adventure that awaited her, as the giants of the sea would escort her to discover their world. She has been filmed in Wildlife Documentaries for Italian TV, where she has appeared in over 100 documentaries. The Italian Shark Lady as the press refers to her, because of her numerous encounters of swimming with sharks and all the other creatures of the sea. Her reputation includes her ability to dance with the animals of the sea. She has a special ability of closeness with all forms of wildlife as the animals all can sense her deep affection for them.
